Gallery Furniture

STATEMENT FROM JIM MCINGVALE AND GALLERY FURNITURE

Linda and I have been informed that investigators have discovered evidence that last Thursday night’s fire at Gallery Furniture’s I-45 warehouse was not accidental.

We are shocked and stunned and want the person who is responsible caught.

Now that an official investigation has been opened, we have no comment on the matter except to ask any individual with any information that might assist investigators to call 1-888-ATF-FIRE or Crime Stoppers of Houston immediately at 713-222-TIPS.

Finally, Linda and I want to thank the thousands of fellow Houstonians and Texans for their outpouring of support and encouragement. Make no mistake: Gallery Furniture is strong, stable and excited about our future. We will overcome this hardship so we can continue serving our loyal customers.

Papa John's

“PAPA” JOHN SCHNATTER VISITS HOUSTON ON NATIONAL ROAD TRIP

Twenty-five years ago, “Papa” John Schnatter sold his beloved ’72 Z28 Camaro to fund his other passion: delivering a superior-quality pizza to the residents of his hometown.

That commitment to “Better Ingredients. Better Pizza.” can be seen and felt every day in all 3,400 Papa John’s restaurants worldwide. The ’72 Z28 Camaro? Well, that’s a different story. It hasn’t been seen since 1984. So Schnatter is offering a $25,000 reward for the person who can point him in the direction of the car that started it all.

This Friday – as part of his nationwide Road Trip – Papa John will driving a replica ’72 Z28 Camaro through Houston to spread the word about his search and provide clues about his original car, in the hopes that someone can tell him where it is…and receive $25,000 in return.

While in Houston, John will have lunch with Houstonians downtown with proceeds benefitting the Readers are Leaders Foundation and deliver pizzas to a neighborhood block party in Spring, TX.

The entire time, Papa John will be joined by two lucky intern “sidekicks,” who will be chronicling their stop in Houston via photos, videos, blogs and tweets at www.papasroadtrip.com.
